Experience matters, but character and consistency are equally important. Requirements may vary by assignment.
- Compassionate, respectful support for older adults and families
- Dependable attendance and timely communication
- Ability to follow a written non-medical care plan
- Experience with personal care, mobility assistance, meals, companionship, or household support
- Professional references and willingness to complete required screening
- Legal authorization to work and completion of employment documentation during onboarding
- Reliable transportation or a dependable way to reach assigned clients
- Driver’s license and acceptable driving record when an assignment includes transportation
